OVERVIEW

The project required WIP Construction to provide building services in connection with the Breast Screen Queensland Cairns Service office fit out at 125 Sheridan Street.
The development was a design & construct project requiring existing office space to be reconfigured into a medical facility.
The facility now includes; a foyer, patient wait room, PWD change rooms and toilets, clinical examination rooms, radiography rooms and ultrasound rooms, offices and meeting rooms.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • The project was completed successfully on time and allowed staff to take over the facility and begin medical procedures in a short period of time.
  • The client was very happy with the project outcomes and quality of WIP’s workmanship and finish, which resulted in cost effective administration and delivery.
  • This project was completed in a tight timeframe of only 22 weeks and required a highly organised program to allow trades to execute their skills and progress the project in a continuous manner.
